Z-VSScopy Freeware
The programs serves two purposes: it acts as an add-on module for Z-DBackup/Z-DATdump and is also a stand-alone freeware tool. Z-VSScopy displays all existing snapshots from the system and lets the user browser their contents, delete snapshots or create new ones.
If necessary, you can copy files from a snapshot and restore them to any location.
Z-Vsscopy can be used free of charge with the Freeware Versions of Z-DBackup and Z-DATdump and allows even private persons complete backups of open and locked files.  More information on Z-VSScopy

Professional Backups to Tape
Z-DBackup Compact-Tape
A real alternative to DVDs and removable or external hard drives as a backup medium are tape backups. Even large data inventories can be archived audit-proof and then be stored at a secure remote site. In case of hardware failure, hard drives are rather unfavourable, because the data might be lost forever. This cannot happen with tapes, because you can simply exchange the drive and the mediums can still be read. A real advantage in preventing damage through data loss.
With our Compact Tape Package consisting of Z-DBackup, Z-VSScopy, and Z-DATdump, even complex backup concepts can be implemented.
Z-DBackup can be used to manage up to 99 backup sets. Every backup set can be configured individually with a variety of options, such as 256 bit AES encryption (password protection), ZIP compression, extended NTFS file information and permissions, and many more. It also offers built-in support for many applications, such as a complete Microsoft Outlook or Windows Mail backup.
Z-VSScopy makes it possible to include locked or exclusively opened files and databases in a backup, so that a backup with Z-DBackup can be done onveniently from a running system.
Z-DATdump stores the backup on a tape. This Tape Software works hand in hand with the backup program Z-DBackup. Z-DATdump can be used with a large variety of tape drives such as TRAVAN, VXA, DAT, MLR, SLR, QIC, LTO, ULTRIUM, AIT, DLT, and DDS with IDE, SCSI, USB or S-ATA connection.

Z-DBackup backs up your data
The program Z-DBackup manages your backups with individual backup sets. The advantage of a tape loader is that it can store huge amounts of data on different tapes. If you want to fully automate your backups, and be able to access different versions of your archived data, you can create a scheduled backup set with a multi-generation backup scheme and predefined actions that automatically handle your tape loader.
Z-DATdump transfers your backup to tape
The module Z-DATdump adds the functionality to copy backups to tapes to the Z-DBackup software. It can also be used as a stand-alone tool for quick and easy backup of data to tapes.
Z-TapeLoader manages your tape loader
The module Z-TapeLoader is an add-on for Z-DATdump and is already contained in the installation package. This tool enhances the combination of Z-DBackup and Z-DATdump to automatically control tape loaders/tape libraries.

Z-DBackup :: Professional backups with only a few clicks
 Z-DBackup is a backup program which quickly, easily and reliably backs up data to any target drive, even to CD-R/DVD/Blu-Ray or tape. Its network capabilites make Z-DBackup the ideal backup software for personal as well as commercial use.
Z-DBackup is controlled with backup sets. For each backup set, you can specify the files/directories to be included in the backup and set a variety of options, such as password protection, compression, etc. These settings are saved, so that you can run a backup set again and again with only one mouse click!
In addition to creating compressed backup archives (with optional 256 bit AES encryption in the professional version), Z-DBackup can also create 1:1 file copies of directories and drives.
Extended file information and attributes are included in the backups. Even security and access settings are copied to the backup medium (e.g. an NTFS formatted external hard drive) and can be restored together with the files. File and folder names (path lengths) of more than 260 characters are supported.
Apart from full, incremental, differential or chronological backups, Z-DBackup can also be used for Synchronisation/mirroring of files and directories. The program creates an exact image of the data from the source directories into the target directories, and can be used for Synchronisation, replications and mirroring of files and directories on your computer, laptop or server/network to HD, NAS, USB, REV, RDX, CD, DVD, Blu-Ray or tape.

Z-DataDVD
 Z-DataDVD can burn whole directories, optionally automatically or on schedule, for transport, backup or archiving to CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, i.e. fast and automatic backup to:
Blu-Ray (BD-R/BD-RE) - DVD+R/W, DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-R/W, DVD+R Dual Layer and DVD-RAM - CD-R und CD-RW
The software has an easy-to-use graphical interface and can also be controlled with command-line parameters. This allows for a scheduled backup with the Windows-integrated Task Scheduler or our own Task and Backup Scheduler Z-Cron, which offers many advanced features.
Z-DataDVD was originally developed as an add-on module for Z-DBackup but can also be used as a stand-alone utility for fast backup or archiving to CD, DVD or Blu-Ray.
